Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas shakes hands with President Pranab Mukherjee during their meeting in the West Bank city of Ramallah yesterday. Mukherjee will hold talks with Abbas and Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah. The visit comes amid a surge of violence in Jerusalem, the West Bank and Israel.
