Taking a tough stand against illegal multi-storey buildings in Noida and greater Noida, the Allahabad High Court yesterday ordered the authorities to raze two buildings. The court ordered the demolition of the illegal buildings constructed by Amrapali and Supertech groups within two months and to get the land cleared of all constructions within a fixed time limit. These projects are spread over 43,000 sq m of land. Various housing societies are likely to be affected by the court order while the investments of thousands of people are likely to be jeopardised.
