Prime Minister Narendra Modi shakes hands with Uzbekistan President Islam Karimov at Kuksaroy Presidential Complex in Tashkent yesterday. The two leaders later held discussions. Earlier, Modi was welcomed at the airport by Uzbek Prime Minister Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev. Uzbekistan is the first leg of Modi’s eight-day tour to Central Asia and Russia.
