Celebrated chef and entrepreneur Sanjeev Kapoor poses with a member of the team that reportedly broke the Guinness World Record for the largest Imarti or Jhangri at Mumbai’s Sanskriti restaurant yesterday. It weighed 37kg, had a diameter of 9ft and took 3 hours and 48 minutes to prepare. Imarti or Jhangri is a deep-fried dessert soaked in sugar syrup and is popular in India and other countries of the subcontinent.
