Actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan was yesterday admitted to a private hospital in Chennai following suspected symptoms of food poisoning. He is “perfectly fine” and will be discharged by today morning, his manager said. “Kamal was admitted to Apollo hospital due to food poisoning this morning. He is perfectly fine and there’s nothing to worry. He will be discharged by evening or tomorrow morning,” Nikil Murugan said. The 59-year-old is expected to join shooting today for Tamil film Papanasam.
