Qatar Chamber chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim al-Thani will head a delegation to the Gulf-Jordanian Economic Forum beginning tomorrow in Amman.
The two-day event is co-organised by the Federation of Gulf Co-operation Council Chambers and Jordan Chamber of Commerce.
The accompanying delegation includes Qatar Chamber board members Abdul Aziz al-Ridwani, Mohamed al-Obaildi, Mohamed Johar al-Mohamed, Rashid bin Nasser Al Serya al-Kaabi, Qatar International Centre for Arbitration and Reconciliation board member Sheikh Thani bin Saud al-Thani and acting director manager Saleh Hamad al-Sharqi.
The forum aims at enhancing economic co-operation between Gulf countries and Jordan and exploring business and investment opportunities on both sides. It also discusses exploring new horizons of economic co-operation and trade integration between both parties.
The forum also focuses on encouraging Public Private Partnership and providing interaction and communication among Gulf-Jordan businessmen for creating joint points and establishing trade ties.
It is organised under many themes reviewing horizons of developing trade and economic relations between both sides and the role of Arab and Gulf funds and financing SMEs in both parties. It also explores developing co-operation among business youth and entrepreneurs and enhancing communication between Gulf-Jordan businesswomen for building mutual economic and trade partnership.
The forum’s agenda includes formal integration discussions, open sessions, speeches of dignitaries and buisiness-to-business meetings.
