Al Khalij Commercial Bank (Al Khaliji) has appointed Hamad al-Kubaisi as group chief human resources and administration officer and Rana Ahmad al-Asaad as head of personal banking.
Al-Kubaisi will be responsible for leading human resources, facilities and procurement functions across Al Khaliji group and reporting directly to the group’s CEO.
Al-Asaad will be directing and managing Al Khaliji’s personal banking business in line with the bank’s overall strategy.
On the new appointments, Al Khaliji’s Group chief executive officer, Fahad al-Khalifa said, “Al Khaliji aims to create a strongly qualified and professional Qatari workforce to support the bank’s growth in the banking sector. While we continue to recruit fresh and experienced Qatari talent, we are also supporting and developing our internal human capital. I am confident of our local talent skills and capabilities to lead the evolution and growth of the Bank.”
