QJet has tested the refuelling operation of the Qatar Airways superjumbo A380 from “more than one location” at Hamad International Airport through “different types of trucks”. The final tests, using trucks specially prepared for this type of aircraft, were attended by company officials from the operations and technical department. “The company did not experience any major difficulties or problems in the final testing, which confirms the company’s readiness to provide the best services to the entire Qatar Airways’ fleet,” QJet said yesterday. Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman al-Thani, Qatar Fuel chairman and Ibrahim Jaham al-Kuwari, QJet director-general, participated in a “familiarisation tour” organised by Qatar Airways in order to provide idea about the new Qatari aircraft and display its unique capabilities, features and equipment.
