Qatar Petroleum (QP) recently hosted a delegation from Kuwait Oil Company (KOC), who visited Qatar to gain insights on the company’s marine activities and port operations. Mubarak Awaida al-Hajri, QP’s Offshore Fields operations manager, welcomed the KOC delegation led by Captain Osamah Bujarrah, Mohamed al-Otaibi, and Falah al-Ajmi. The QP team explained the corporation’s activities and operational functions in a meeting attended by Mahmoud Khoori, marine manager; Mohamed al-Abdulla, Halul Terminal manager; Khaled al-Qattan, head of Port Regulations & Control; and Fahad al-Dosari, head of Business Planning and programme co-ordinator for the visit. Also present during the meeting were representatives from the ports of Ras Laffan and Mesaieed: Sanjiv Tandon, Ronald Bernard Murray, and Vegesana Raju. The KOC delegation’s five-day programme included visits to work sites in Ras Laffan Industrial City, Mesaieed Industrial City, and Halul Terminal where they held knowledge-sharing sessions with QP staff about the company’s experience. The delegation also expressed their appreciation for the programme and thanked QP for the warm reception and arrangements for their visit.
