ExxonMobil demonstrated its support for the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) yesterday by participating in the Middle East Health, Safety, Environment, & Sustainable Development Conference & Exhibition (MEHSES).
MEHSES is designed to provide more than 1,000 professionals from the energy industry the opportunity to engage in constructive dialogue on various health, safety and environment (HSE) issues, including social responsibility, sustainable development, risk management, environmental issues, health hazard management, behaviour-based safety, land transportation safety, workforce welfare, and security issues.
Bart Cahir, ExxonMobil Qatar general manager and president addressed the regional and international delegates who attended the opening session of the conference, highlighting the company’s support for the event as its sole titanium sponsor.
“I would like to congratulate SPE and Qatar Petroleum for organising this conference, and for gathering such a distinguished group of participants,” said Cahir.
