HANDICRAFTS AND CULTURAL EXHIBITION: The Dukhan 9th Annual Handicrafts & Cultural Exhibition Events featuring various art and culture of each of the international community living in Dukhan attracted a large number of participants. The Dukhan community is made up of Indonesians, Indians, Malaysians, Filipinos, Pakistanis, Tunisians, Sudanese and Bangladeshis. Indonesian Ambassador Deddy Saiful Hadi, his wife Endang Deddy Hadi and other embassy staff members attended the event which started at 4pm in Dukhan with a parade featuring each community. The Indonesian expatriates participated in the parade performing braid horse dance dressed in batik. The Indonesian stand featured batik decorated with a variety of typical Indonesian handicrafts and a wooden hand-made rickshaw.
