SPEECH: Prachanda said that all Nepalese workers and communities should work to strengthen bilateral relations between Nepal and Qatar.
The third conference of Jana Pragatisheel Manch Qatar was held recently in the presence of former Nepal premier and the Chairman of UCPN Maoist Pushpa Kamal Dahal, popularly known as Prachanda, as the chief guest.
The programme was conducted in the presence of 350 people and was chaired by Ramesh Bhatta, the president of Jana Pragatisheel Manch. Acting Nepalese Ambassador Ganesh Prashad Dhakal attended as a special guest. Journalists, diplomats, NRNA members and diplomats were present on the occasion.
Prachanda said that all Nepalese workers and communities should work to strengthen bilateral relations between Nepal and Qatar.
Acting Ambassador Dhakal said that Nepalese communities should abide by the law of Qatar and respect its culture, which he said will help promote bilateral relations.
A new working committee consisting of 51 members was formed on the occasion, with Sami Kumar Oli elected as the patron and Homnath Sharma elected as the chairman. There are 15 alternative members in the Central Committee and 15 in the Advisory Committee. — Usha Wagle Gautam
