Bangladesh elite security force Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) and police late Friday night arrested four more persons in connection with the deadly attack on Shia mosque in northern district of Bogra, which left one dead and three injured.
Of the four, the RAB arrested three and the remaining one, Shamsul Islam, director of Molamgari Kawmi Madrasa, was picked up by police.
Meanwhile, police have taken Anwar Hossain, 55, and Jewel Miah, 20, who were arrested on Thursday night after the attack, on seven days of remand.
“Anwar is an active member of banned militant outfit JMB,” superintendent of
police Asaduzzaman said.
