Asia’s pop sensation Julie Anne San Jose will perform at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on December 13, as she stages the first ever Hologram concert in the Philippines. |
Dubbed Hologram The Concert, the multi-platinum recording artist is set to bring the house down with her powerful vocals, electrifying dance moves and undeniable talent in playing various musical instruments simultaneously using the hologram technology.
“Very proud to be performing in December,” said the 20-year-old artiste at a news conference last Wednesday at the GMA Network headquarters in Quezon City.
Besides getting involved in conceptualising production numbers of her show, Julie Anne revealed she is undergoing rigorous preparations for her biggest concert yet.
“These include voice and dance lessons to regular workouts at the gym,” she explained.
Clearly excited about such a hi-tech production, Julie Anne said that from the opening number, she will be seen on stage in multiple holograms, which is sure to amaze the audience.
“I would like to reveal to my fans that I can do much more and that I am passionate about my work,” she said.
Joining her for the one-night-only Hologram are some of the country’s best male performers, namely Asia’s romantic balladeer Christian Bautista, YouTube sensation Abra, ABS-CBN talent Sam Concepcion, and other surprise guests that is bound to make the night even more memorable.
She confirmed that former screen partner Elmo Magalona has declined to make guest appearance at the show due to a prior engagement. Rumours have been circulating that the son of the late King of Rap Francis Magalona was hesitant to accept the production’s invitation since he had just officially announced that he and new screen partner Janine Gutierrez are now an item.
Asked about this, Julie Anne said she cannot comment on speculation.
