Student at the acting camp
A fortnight-long acting camp is currently on at Kalabhavan Qatar with nearly 100 students in attendance.
International trainer N K Sajiv, a visiting faculty at leading film institutes in India, is the resource person.
Physical exercises, voice modulation treatments, breathing exercises, improvisation sessions, acting games and acting for camera are among the sessions.
“Towards the end of the acting camp, a production will be hosted to showcase the progress of the aspiring actors,” principal John Kurian said.
Courses on digital painting, animation and film making, costume designing, ornament designing are being planned at Kalabhavan.
A famous south Indian film director and his team are holding an acting workshop during February with cameras, light, sound, and editing equipment.
