Qtel is engaging young students from across the nation as part of its campaign for the National Day

Qtel is reaching out to the next generation as part of its broad campaign for Qatar National Day with the theme of hope and opportunity: “Our dreams have led us this far -let’s continue.”
Engaging young people and fuelling their sense of pride in their country is a key value for Qtel, and its campaign this year has gone further than ever before in engaging young students from across the nation.
To create its pioneering promotional campaign, staff from Qtel visited two schools - the Al Bayan Educational Complex for Girls and the Omar bin Al-Khattab Educational Complex for Boys - and worked with different classes to encourage Qatari children to talk about their dreams for the future of their country.
Different groups of students aged between six and nine years’ old spoke about their ideas and aspirations, driven by their love of Qatar and motivation to play a role in the overall prosperity of the country. The results, which are being shared via a special series of television commercials and social media, demonstrate the creativity, patriotism and self-belief of the next generation of national students.
Children in the classes also painted a special mural showing their ideal image of the future of Qatar, which is on display at Qtel Tower in West Bay.
In addition to the promotional campaign, Qtel is also distributing special National Day gifts to about 40 schools across the nation. The gifts include special scarves and badges.
