HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani met Sultan Qaboos bin Saeed of Oman at the Bait al Baraka royal palace in Muscat yesterday .
Talks dealt with the bilateral relations and ways of promoting them in various fields besides a number of regional and international issues of mutual concern.
The meeting was attended by HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor al-Thani and the members of the accompanying official delegation.
On the Omani side, the meeting was attended by a number of ministers.
Earlier on arrival in Muscat on a two-day private visit to Oman, the Emir and the accompanying delegation were welcomed by Sultan Qaboos.
Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmood al-Saeed, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, a number of ministers and senior Omani officials and Qatar’s Ambassador to the Sultanate, Abdullah bin Mohamed al-Khater were also among the well-wishers.
