Emir receives Mauritanian leader
HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani holding talks with President of Mauritania, Mohamed Ould Abdelaziz at the Al Wajbah Palace yesterday. Talks dealt with bilateral ties, the latest regional and international developments and a number of issues of mutual concern.
Emir hosts luncheon banquet
HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani hosted at Al Wajbah Palace yesterday a luncheon banquet in honour of a number of Arab heads of state on the occasion of their visit to Qatar to attend the opening ceremony of the 12th Arab Games. The banquet was attended by Presidents Mahmoud Abbas of Palestine, Mohamed Ould Abdelaziz of Mauritania, Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed of Somalia, Eklil Zanin of Comoros and Chief of Intelligence in Saudi Arabia Prince Migren bin Abdul Aziz al-Saud. The function was also attended by HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of Administrative Control And Transparency Authority, Abdullah bin Hamad al-Attiyah, and a number of ministers.
