A cultural show, featuring dances, songs, skits and stage plays was held. A large number of Odiya families residing in Qatar and bachelors participated in the celebrations.

Financial adviser from the Kingdom of Bahrain and social activist Kishore Dash was the guest of honour.
At the meeting, forum president Prabhat Behera made an appeal to the Odiyas residing in Qatar to register their names with Utkalika and send their personal particulars to: [email protected].
