| UAE Ambassador Al-Dhaheri launching the new website yesterday |
The ambassador said the launch coincided with the celebrations of the 40th National Day of the UAE.
The website also follows the policy of the UAE Foreign Ministry in upgrading its services and making them easily accessible.
Al-Dhaheri affirmed that the new website reflected the daily events in the UAE and “acts as an open link between the embassy and UAE citizens, Qataris and other residents in Qatar”.
He said the new website would reflect the deep-rooted friendly relationships between Qatar and the UAE. “It also facilitates the daily services offered by the embassy and makes the process faster,” he added.
Commenting on the 40th National Day, the ambassador said: “The Union’s strength is not measured by years but by achievements and the UAE’s achievements in all fields are clear for all.”
The diplomat said that the UAE has attained a globally distinguished status regarding humanitarian, social and economic achievements.
Al-Dhaheri said that the UAE is always working for peace and believes in peaceful negotiations as a means for resolving the existing disputes.
The new website makes the embassy’s services accessible to enhance communication with potential reviewers.
