“The new C4 is manufactured to the highest standards and has many hi-tech specifications which are not available in many other competitors,” general manager Ahmad Saeed Bajubair said.
Attractive sculpted lines, remarkable quality of finish, user-friendly design, fuel efficiency and versatility are among the salient features, he explained.
The 1,600cc, 120hp engine is designed for a very low fuel consumption and reduces CO2 emissions by more than 5g/km.
Blind spot monitoring system, a programmable speed limiter and cruise control are among the features unique to the Citroen C4 in its market segment.
Electric lumbar adjustment for the front seats, customised onboard ambience (colours of the instrument cluster, choice of polyphonic, ringtone-like chimes, intensity of the air-conditioning) and a 230V socket are new features to the compact hatchback market.
The blind spot monitoring system, which uses ultrasound technology, alerts the driver through an orange diode in the angle of the door mirror when its detects a vehicle.
Comprising four sensors in the front and rear bumpers, the system is active between 12km/h and 140km/h, and monitors the area from the front door mirror to a spot some 5m behind the rear bumper and up to 3.5m on either side.
The programmable speed limiter and cruise control can memorise up to five speed settings and restore them easily when speed limits change on the road.
The Citroen WiFi On Board system, which provides continuous wireless connection, runs with a 3G/3G+ SIM card specific to the web connection subscribed by the customer.
The in-car web connection allows occupants to access e-mails, tweet, and play online games among others.
The new Citroen C4 is available with clutch less manual gear box and manual gear box, a choice of 10 different body colours, and wheels of 15” and 18”.
The price starts from QR64,000. Warranty is five years or 200,000kms, whichever comes first.
