The Four Seasons Hotel’s Deluxe Suite, main bedroom
Guests at Four Seasons Hotel Doha are being treated to a brand new look and feel in all Standard, Superior, Deluxe and Premier Rooms, Ambassador Suites, Four Seasons Suites and Four Seasons Executive Suites, as the hotel unveils its renovated inventory of guest accommodation.
The refreshed guest offering marks the completion of the first phase of the hotel’s $10mn renovation project announced earlier this year, which will also see the opening of an all-new Southeast Asian-inspired signature restaurant and further suite upgrades in the coming months.
Named Qatar’s Leading Resort at the World Travel Awards 2011, the renovations highlight the hotel’s unique proposition in the Qatari capital – offering a waterfront stay experience alongside an enviable location in the heart of the West Bay business district.
Key highlights of the renovation include a complete soft renovation of 175 rooms and 47 suites across 14 floors, which was completed in stages over a four-month period starting May this year.
The renovated rooms now sport aqua and taupe schemes, with a golden yellow treatment afforded to the Ambassador Suites. All rooms and suites received a complete refreshment of upholstery, soft furnishings such as curtains, carpets and cushions as well as upgrades to room accessories, furniture and light fixtures with a view to boosting their comfort and appeal to the modern business and leisure traveller.
This winter, the hotel is set to launch an all-new dining concept – Nusantao: Sea Kitchens, which will replace the Brasserie on the Beach restaurant. The new restaurant is designed by London-based restaurant concept studio Blue Sky Hospitality and will bring the culinary excitement and sensory wonders of Southeast Asian shores to a strikingly contemporary urban dining environment.
The hotel also expects to launch a second phase of refurbishments in 2012, covering the soft renovations of its Gulf, State, West Bay and Royal Suites.
