Hyatt Plaza Shopping mall will  begin on Saturday, October 8 a month-long sales promotion “Brands Fiesta” that will offer unique branded gifts as rewards to customers for shopping in any of the mall’s 74 outlets, it was announced yesterday.
During the promo, customers who spend QR100 will receive a raffle coupon, which entitles them to participate in a weekly raffle draw.
Every week, 10 customers stand the chance to win any item out of a list of gifts comprising accessories like sunglasses, perfumes, watches and jewelleries by top 15 different luxury brands including Swarovski, Armani, Cartier, Christian Dior, Aigner and Mont Blanc.
The promotion, which ends on November 12, will also create awareness about the upcoming Doha Park 2011 at the Doha Exhibition Centre, which is being organised by the Qatar Tourism Authority and starting on October 13.
Speaking yesterday at a press conference, Hyatt Plaza general manager Feroz Moideen noted that the sales promotion would set a benchmark offering a wide range of branded gifts as surprises to ensure customers have an exciting moments shopping at the mall.
“With raffle draws and winners each week, we strive to stay focused on our vision to be the shopping destination with all time leading brands in Qatar,” he said.
Hyatt Plaza marketing consultant Naseem Sheikh, who packaged and produced the promo said: “Shopping is all about brands, which is why we have designed and tagged this promo ‘Brands Fiesta’. It’s the first time such an event is being held to put back in the community and we are hoping that the event becomes an annual activity.”
Khalid al-Hawasi, representative of Qatar Tourism Authority, the organiser of Doha Park, said that Doha Park had joined hands with Hyatt Plaza in the hope of creating awareness and selling tickets to the international circus event.
