The winner of the mega prize, a Toyota Land Cruiser 2011, was announced in the draw that took place at the Techno Blue main showroom in the Centre Complex.
An official from the Ministry of Business and Trade, Techno Blue general manager K V Gopal, sales and marketing manager Abdul Salam, showroom manager Khalid Ebaidullah, Samsung Gulf Electronics sales manager Suhail Dalvi and a number of customers were present.
The promotion was open to anyone who made a purchase of Samsung goods worth QR500 or above from Techno Blue retail stores located in The Centre, Musheireb, Al Nasr, The Mall, Al Rayyan and Barwa Village, WakraH or any participating outlet in the country. Consolation prizes including 10 TVs, refrigerators, washing machines, air-conditioners, vacuum cleaners, microwave ovens, laptops and digital cameras for a value of around QR350,000 were also given away in the draw.
“The Samsung Digital Carnival has been a big success as the customers got something extra at the same cost,” Gopal said while assuring customers of similar promotions in the forthcoming season as well.
