Doha Park, which will draw in performers, acts and activities from around the world, is set to open on October 13 at the grounds of Doha Exhibition Centre.
Doha Park will feature more than 100 events and attractions, including an amusement park, international circus acts from Europe, Russia, Egypt and China, theatrical plays, concerts by international stars, a 3D cinema, performances by folkloric bands depicting the heritage of Qatar and other Arab countries and appearances by cartoon personalities.
There will be a play area for children under the age of 10, a live theatre and various fun activities to suit the tastes of all family members. The festival is considered to be the largest entertainment festival in Qatar encouraging tourism and family entertainment. Ahli Bank will be the main sponsor of the festival, which is being held under the patronage of Qatar Tourism Authority and which is organised by Economic Group.
