Ayidh al-Qahtani receives a memento from Pakistani Ambassador Muhammed Sarfaraz Ahmed Khanzadeh
The Pakistani Ambassador to Qatar, Muhammed Sarfaraz Ahmed Khanzadeh, visited the Sheikh Thani bin Abdullah Foundation for Humanitarian Services (RAF) recently. Chairman of the board of directors and managing director of RAF Ayidh al-Qahtani, along with directors of some of the departments of the RAF, received the ambassador in the RAF headquarters in Doha.
During the visit, the RAF managing director explained to the ambassador the various humanitarian and charitable activities carried out by RAF at national, regional and international levels, and the Pakistani Ambassador hailed and appreciated the humanitarian initiatives and services carried out by the government and people of Qatar for their brothers affected by floods and disasters in Pakistan.
The ambassador also expressed the thanks of the Pakistani people and government for the generous support extended to Pakistan by HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani and  the government through Qatari charitable institutions including Sheikh Thani bin Abdullah Foundation for Humanitarian Services.
During the meeting, al-Qahtani also said that the RAF and Qatari people had showed sympathy for their brothers in Pakistan at the highest level, and the quick response of the charity and humanitarian institutions in Qatar to the call for supporting affected people in Pakistan was clear evidence of that sympathy.
“Through our present and future plans, we are trying to implement development projects in the humanitarian, charitable and healthcare fields at the affected areas in Pakistan ,” said  al-Qahtani.
The Pakistani ambassador presented a memento to al-Qahtani as a token of appreciation for the existing strong relation between the two countries.
