The draw was held at the Safari Group’s Safari Hypermarket on the Salwa road on Thursday.
Under the promotion any customer buying goods worth QR50 at any of the three Safari outlets would be issued a coupon which would enable him to participate in the draw.
In the draw held in the presence of a ministry of business and trade official at the Safari Hypermarket, the lucky winner was picked. Four more draws would be held in the next two months as part of the promotion.
Along with Manahil Faisil Nasir who won half a kilo of gold, other winners were also picked. They are Hassan Ali Mohamed (1017363, Samsung LED 40 inch and home theatre), Saddam Hussen Khan (1046339, LG fridge 560 litres), Mohamed al-Fadi (823214, Dell laptop 4030) and B Ramesh Babu (299829, BlackBerry mobile).
