HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday chaired the third meeting of the board of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy for 2015. The meeting, at the Emiri Diwan, was attended by HH the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani, the Emir’s Personal Representative HH Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani, also the board’s vice chairman, and HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani, a board member, and the remaining members of the board. The meeting focused on plans in place to ensure that the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar is a real legacy for the country. The meeting reviewed progress in work on projects related to the tournament as well as other developments.
