HE the Chairman of the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority, Abdullah bin Hamad al-Attiyah, has received a written message from mayor of Onagawa town in Japan, Yoshiaki Suda, in which he has expressed his gratitude for the efforts exerted by Qatar to rehabilitate the town which was heavily damaged in March 2011 earthquake and tsunami. Japanese Ambassador to Qatar Shingo Tsuda handed over the letter during a meeting with al-Attiyah in Doha yesterday in the presence of Ishimori, the vice-president of Onagawa Fish Market buyers Co-operative. Talks during the meeting dealt with topics of common interest.
