Nasser al-Khelaifi has been voted as chairman of the Asian Tennis Federation in an election that was held in Sri Lanka on the sidelines of the federation’s annual general assembly. Al-Khelaifi, president of Qatar Tennis Federation and Paris Saint-Germain, replaces Sheikh Ahmed al-Jaber al-Sabah of Kuwait who was appointed honorary president of the continental federation. In the voting for other executive positions, Anil Khanna of India won the presidential vote unopposed.
