HE the Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani has directed that all completed projects, which were affected by yesterday’s rain, should be probed and referred to the Public Prosecution for suitable legal action.
“Under the directives of HE the Premier, it was decided that all concerned bodies and companies that implemented the projects, which the current rains and the weather conditions have revealed their flaws, must be referred to investigation and then to the Public Prosecution,” the official Qatar News Agency (QNA) said.
The Government Communication Office announced that five companies that must be referred to investigation have already been identified, while parties responsible for dereliction or negligence, whether governmental or private, will be held accountable, QNA added.
