HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani receiving Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro ahead of their talks at Al Bahr Palace yesterday. They discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance them in all fields. The meeting also covered a number of regional and international issues of joint interest. A number of members of the Qatari Cabinet and the delegation accompanying the Venezuelan president attended the meeting. President Maduro arrived in Doha yesterday afternoon on a short visit to Qatar. The president and his accompanying delegation were greeted upon arrival at Hamad International Airport by HE the Minister of Energy and Industry Dr Mohamed bin Saleh al-Sada and Venezuela’s ambassador Julian Rivas.
