The Leaders Development Centre organised yesterday an introductory meeting for the ‘Bronze Leadership Programme’ for the World Cup 2022, in the presence of a number of officials and officers of the Ministry of Interior and participants.
The programme aims to prepare security leaders for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar through defining the roles of bronze, silver and gold leaders and their responsibilities in crises management and sports security.
Brigadier Badr Ibrahim al-Ghanim, director of the Technical Office of the Minister of Interior, who is also member of the committee overseeing the preparation of the leadership training for the World Cup 2022, underlined the importance of the programme. The ministry has made great efforts to promote the concept of deliberate systematic training in order to achieve the desired results.
