HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani attending the 33rd meeting for the Gulf Co-operation Council interior ministers at Bayan Palace in Kuwait yesterday.

HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani took part in the 33rd ministerial meeting for GCC ministers of interior, which was held yesterday in Kuwait.

The meeting reviewed and discussed mechanisms of security co-ordination and co-operation between GCC states in a way that goes in line with requirements of GCC work towards achieving integration between Gulf security apparatuses and enhancing security of the region.

Addressing the participants, the prime minister and interior minister invited GCC interior ministers to attend the 34th meeting in Doha.

He thanked Kuwait’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Mohamed al-Khaled al-Hamad al-Sabah for the warm reception and hospitality.

Later in the evening, the Prime Minister and the accompanying delegation left Kuwait after attending the 33th GCC Interior Ministers meeting.

They were seen off at Kuwait international airport by Qatar’s ambassador to Kuwait Hamad bin Ali al-Henzab and members of the Qatari embassy in addition to a number of senior Kuwaiti officials.
