French Gendarmerie Director General Dennis Favier and Director of Office of Lekhwiya Col Fahd Rashid al-Rashid exchanging documents to ink an agreement yesterday.

 letter of intent to further strengthen co-operation between France and Qatar in the areas of training and exchange of information in the field of security was signed on the sidelines of  

the Milipol Qatar yesterday.

HE the Prime Minster and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalfia al-Thani and French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve were present at the signing.

The agreement was signed between Director General of Public Security Staff Major General Saad bin Jassim al Khulafi and Director General of French National Police (French Gendarmerie) Dennis

Favier.

Later an agreement was signed between the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) and the French Gendarmerie. It was signed between Director of the Office of the Lekhwiya Fahd Rashid al-Ali and

the French team by the Director General of the French Gendarmerie Dennis Favier.

Another agreement was signed in the field of security with the Azerbaijan. HE Staff Major General Saad bin Jassim al- Khulaifi and the Interior Minister of Azerbaijan Ramil Uzubov.

The Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) also signed a co-operation agreement with the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan.  The agreement was signed for Lekhwiya by

Director of the Office of the Internal Security Force Brigadier Fahd Rashid al-Ali and  Azerbaijani Minister for Emergency Situations Colonel General Kamaladdin Heydarov.
