Abdullah Abdulghani and Bros Co (AAB), the sole distributor of Toytoa and Lexus vehicles in Qatar, has launched the compact multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) Toyota Avanza in Qatar.
The vehicle is available in two variants of Toyota Avanza DLX 1.5L, 2015 model at QR58,000 and Toyota Avanza GL 1.5L, 2015 model at QR61,000. With an enhanced interior space and three rows of seats which can accommodate seven passengers, the Avanza also offers excellent fuel economy and maneuverability.
Dr Nasser Abdulghani al-Abdulghani, managing director, AAB, said: “This supremely practical vehicle is set to redefine the compact MPV segment highlighting Toyota’s philosophy in introducing vehicles that not only feature a host of innovative and enhanced features, but which also meet the growing demands of the brand’s most loyal consumers.”
He said: “To support our growing customer base, we will be opening our eighth service centre at Al Nayef which is expected to be ready in September this year to further increase service capacity and improve customer convenience.”
Toyota Avanza features a SUV/MPV crossover-like design that lends the vehicle a sophisticated façade. The Avanza’s external dimensions lead into an interior that is comfortably spacious for all the passengers with ample room for luggage and third-row seating.
The vehicle is powered by a 1.5L engine that can churn out a maximum output of 102 HP and a maximum torque of 139/4400 Nm/rpm. Customers have the options of four-speed automatic transmission or a five-speed manual transmission to enhance the vehicle’s overall driving experience.
There are a number of high performing safety characteristics to ensure maximum safety for the entire family. Some of the safety features include the ABS (anti-lock brake system), EBD (electronic brake-force distribution) to dual SRS (supplemental restraint system) airbags and three-point ELR (emergency locking retractor) seatbelts, pretensioners and force limiters.
Avanza comes with top-in-class dual air-conditioning system and an upper vent has been incorporated on the top of the centre cluster to achieve maximum cooling for the rear seats. The vehicle is available in six body colours including silver MM, gray ME, dark steel MC, light blue ME, champagne ME and white.
