Family & Friends accommodation service to close soon, says SC

 

 

 

The Family & Friends accommodation service on the Hayya platform and mobile application will close soon, the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC) has said.From November 1, this accommodation option for overseas fans will no longer be available to FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 ticket holders, the SC said in a notice on social media. "This is due to the processing time required to ensure that every ticket holder receives security clearance ahead of November 1 - when the Hayya Card will serve as the only means of entry to Qatar for visitors," the notice explained.Fans can continue to apply for the Family & Friends service until November 1. After this date, fans will need to book accommodation via the Qatar Accommodation Agency or third-party platforms.
