Qatar Scientific Club wins big at Arab Robotics Championship

Qatar Scientific Club's teams which took part in the 13th Arab Robotics Championships in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, from July 1 to 4 have won top positions.The 'ball collector' team won the first place in its category, the 'sumo competitions' team won the third place, while the 'line tracing competitions' team won the best performance cup along with the third place. The 'FLL' team bagged the third spot with the best performance cup. The tournament saw intense competition from Arab teams from 17 countries. These included about 200 teams for various competitions.The Qatari delegation won the 'best participating delegations' shield and the 'best referee cup'.
The Qatar Scientific Club contingent at the championship comprised four teams of 16 participants. They were the 'ball collector' team from Al Wakra Independent Secondary School for Boys, the 'line tracing' team from Hamza Bin Abdul Muttalib Independent Preparatory School for Boys, the 'sumo team' from Qatar Technical Secondary School for Boys and the 'FLLtarget="_blank"'>
