String Quartet of Manila Symphony Orchestra performs in Doha

The event, 'A performance by the String Quartet of the Manila Symphony Orchestra for Kababayans', serenaded members of the Filipino community in Doha in the presence of ambassador Alan L Timbayan, third secretary and vice consul Benjamin A Celedio Jr, and other embassy officials.“The Manila Symphony Orchestra, is one of the oldest orchestra groups in Asia," the envoy pointed out. “The musical rendition is a performance of gratitude, especially to our Kababayans in Qatar for their significant contributions to nation-building and for their sacrifice for the motherland,” he added.
