Qatar Charity organises humanitarian solidarity vigil in support of Gaza

Qatar Charity (QC) held a silent humanitarian solidarity vigil Monday in front of its headquarters in Doha with the participation of various humanitarian organisations from around the world.This vigil was an urgent humanitarian call to save civilians in the Gaza Strip, especially children, women and the elderly, who are facing an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe under a stifling blockade and a systematic denial of humanitarian aid entry, leading to a worsening famine and a near-total collapse of basic services.The silent stand took place in front of the QC headquarters in Doha, with the participation of professionals in the humanitarian and legal fields, included volunteers and staff, in a gesture of solidarity with the people of Gaza and mourning the loss of lives.Participants in the stand emphasised the urgent need for the immediate entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza without conditions or restrictions to protect civilians, especially the most vulnerable children.They also called for the protection of relief workers and medical personnel operating in the field.This movement served as a reminder to the international community of its responsibility toward the ongoing humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, which has become a tragic reality that cannot be ignored.In conjunction with the stand, a digital campaign was launched across social media platforms under the shared hashtag:#Gaza_Is_Dying_of_HungerThe campaign involved activists, influencers, journalists, and public figures who collectively called for breaking the blockade and saving lives.
