QEF 2025: Minister of Commerce and Industry meets officials, global business leaders
HE Minister of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al-Thani held meetings Wednesday with high-profile guests attending the fifth edition of the Qatar Economic Forum 2025, including international ministers, senior officials, and CEOs.
During the second day of the forum, held under the theme "The Road to 2030: Transforming the Global Economy," the Minister met with First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Levan Davitashvili.
The discussions focused on expanding trade, investment, and industrial cooperation between the two countries, exploring ways to support and develop them, and addressing key topics from the forum’s agenda.
HE the Minister also held one-on-one meetings with senior executives from major global corporations, including Founder and CEO of One Investment Management Rajeev Misra, Chairman of Accor Group Sebastien Bazin, Chairman and CEO of MSCI Henry Fernandez, and President and CEO of Franklin Templeton Jennifer Johnson.
The meetings focused on investment collaboration, exploring potential partnerships between global firms and Qatar’s public and private sectors across key industries.
The discussions also highlighted the forum’s role in connecting investors with decision-makers and enhancing understanding of Qatar’s business environment.
HE Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al-Thani emphasized Qatar’s forward-thinking economic policies, explaining how the country has adopted legislative incentives and promising investment opportunities to attract investors, entrepreneurs, and business leaders into Qatar’s expanding market.
