Lulu Group chairman Yusufali escapes unhurt in helicopter crashlanding

Leading businessman and  managing director and the chairman of Lulu Group Yusufali M A and  his wife escaped unhurt in a helicopter crashlanding in Kochi, Kerala, India on Sunday,

According to various Indian media, the helicopter carrying the couple and three others crash-landed in a vacant plot in Kochi on Sunday morning and no injuries have been reported to the passengers.

Dr Mohamed Althaf , director of Lulu Hypermarket Qatar said that Yusufali and his wife are safe and they are being well taken care of.“Yusuff Ali M A, currently in Kerala, was on a short trip from his home in Kochi to visit a relative at nearby hospital. Due to the sudden deterioration of the weather conditions and heavy rains, the experienced pilots decided to make precautionary landing at a safe place to prevent any risk to the life of the passengers or the public at large,” V Nandakumar, director of Communications at the LuLu Group International head office, said in a statement.All passengers and crew underwent necessary medical checkup and are safe, it added.
