The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) in the Philippines has warned the public against spurious websites claiming to facilitate Philippine e-Visas.On its official website, the DFA pointed out the circulation of a live website that contains misinformation about the e-Visa and other related regulations. The Philippine embassy in Doha has also shared identical information across its social media platforms.The DFA clarifies that information on the e-Visa will only be published through its official channels. As announced in its press briefing on July 26, the Philippine e-Visa system will be soft-launched in Philippine Foreign Service Posts in China on August 24.The Philippine e-Visa system is currently being developed and refined in partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology.
