Qatar Charity (QC) continues to distribute humanitarian aid in the Gaza Strip through the Qatari air bridge and its urgent relief projects, with the number of beneficiaries as of May 5 reaching about 2.5mn.The volume of aid provided via the Qatari air bridge (which has been or will be shipped) in co-operation with the Qatar Fund for Development and other parties has reached 1,011 tonnes through 95 aircraft, and the number of beneficiaries is estimated at 729,766 so far, while the number of beneficiaries of urgent relief projects is estimated to be 1,650,670.QC’s aid to the Gaza Strip is distributed in several areas: food supply (hot meals, food baskets, and flour), shelter and non-food items (tents, blankets, winter clothing, and shelter supplies), health (fuel for hospitals, medicines, and medical supplies), water, sanitation, and others.In this context, Mana al-Ansari, director of the Emergency and Relief Department at QC, said: “The difficult conditions that our brothers in Gaza are experiencing require us to redouble our efforts to meet the great shortage of essential living needs and the services they need, and to urge charitable people to continue providing support to them and alleviating their worsening humanitarian suffering.“Praying to God to accept them and reward them with the best reward.”QC continues to receive donations for Gaza through the following link: https://qch.qa/Gaza
