Parks in Qatar all set to receive visitors for Eid

Parks in Qatar are all set to welcome visitors during the Eid al-Fitr holidays.Speaking to Qatar TV, head of the Public Parks Section at Doha Municipality Mohamed Abdullah said the parks have been duly prepared to welcome visitors during the holiday period.Public parks will remain open from 5am until 2am during the holiday, he added.A large number of visitors are expected to visit the parks during the holiday period, especially due to the pleasant weather. Necessary maintenance work has been carried out, in addition to deploying of additional cleaning workers and security guards to ensure the safety of visitors.He added that some parks in residential areas will be designated for families while other parks are open to all.Meanwhile, the ministry has announced that the visiting hours at Al Khor Family Park will be from 8am to 11pm for Eid, while Panda House Park will be open to the public from 9am to 5pm. Tickets to visit these two facilities can be booked through the ministry's Oun app.Doha Municipality, in co-operation with Msheireb Properties, will organise various activities on the second and third days of Eid. Al Rayyan Municipality, in co-operation with Ariane Real Estate Company, has invited the public to attend the activities of Eid on the first three days from 5pm to 8pm at Al Rayyan Public Park.Al Sheehaniya Municipality, in collaboration with Mazzraty, will hold Eid al-Fitr events on the first three days, from 4pm to 8pm, for families at Al Sheehaniya Family Park.
