Intensifying its efforts to strengthen economic, trade and investment relations with fraternal and friendly countries, Qatar on Monday asked them to take advantage of the "distinctive" business opportunities Doha offers across sectors.

Addressing the International Product and Exhibition Conference (IPEC) at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani said the country banks on the private sector's capabilities and potential that have helped the local economy bulwark the repercussions of the unjust blockade.

Highlighting the sovereign aims of promoting its partnership with fraternal and friendly countries, he said: "We invite them all to take advantage of the distinctive business opportunities (that) Qatar has to offer across all sectors, especially in the industrial, agricultural, IT, education, and health sectors."

Economic co-operation and trade exchange among countries are important tools for the countries to achieve economic growth and contribute to achieving the 2030 agenda for sustainable development through which they realise the aspirations of the nations and the international community, he said.
