Amir, Merkel witness formation of joint trade, investment task force

The agreement is being signed in the presence of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and German Chancellor Dr Angela Merkel at a forum in Berlin on Friday.
Two leading Qatari and German business organisations have signed an agreement to form a ‘Joint Task Force for Trade and Investment’ in the presence of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and German Chancellor Dr Angela Merkel at a forum held in Berlin on Friday.The task force, composed of 10 members, five each from the Qatari Businessmen Association and the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce, was formed after the opening session of the Qatar-Germany Business and Investment Forum held at the Maritim Hotel.On the Qatari side, the agreement was signed by QBA chairman HE Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim al-Thani, while Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce CEO Martin Wansleben represented Germany.
