Birla Public School (BPS) delivered a spectacular performance at the CBSE Cluster Athletics Championship 2026–27, achieving remarkable success and bringing immense pride to the school community through its outstanding accomplishments in athletics.
Demonstrating exceptional talent, determination, and sportsmanship, the school secured a total of 36 medals, including 16 gold, 12 silver, and 8 bronze medals across various track and field events. The athletes displayed extraordinary dedication, discipline, and competitive spirit throughout the championship, earning widespread appreciation for their stellar performances.
One of the most memorable highlights of the tournament was the phenomenal achievement of Abdullah Wahedy, who created history by breaking the previous years’ CBSE National Record in the 200m sprint. This outstanding feat marked a proud milestone for both the athlete and the school, further strengthening BPS’ reputation for sporting excellence.
Adding to its glorious achievements, the school was honoured with the prestigious Overall Runner-Up Trophy and emerged champions in the Under-17 Girls category, recognising the team’s exceptional collective performance and consistency throughout the competition.
BPS also secured remarkable runner-up finishes across multiple categories, including the Under-14 Boys, Under-14 Girls, Under-17 Boys, Under-19 Boys, and Under-19 Girls divisions.
