The Next Generation (TNG) School continued its tradition of celebrating academic excellence through its High Achievers’ Breakfasts — a series of events dedicated to recognising outstanding students and the teachers who guided them to success. The feted students achieved exceptional results in the Cambridge Checkpoint, IGCSE, and A-Level examinations. This academic year, the breakfasts were hosted across three campuses — TNG Al Wakra Secondary, TNG Al Wakra Primary & Secondary, and TNG Al Daayen.Students spoke about the wide range of transferable skills developed through their learning journeys — including time management, problem-solving, prioritisation, and perseverance. They reflected on how these skills not only supported their exam performance but also prepared them to navigate future real-world challenges.Discussions also explored contemporary issues for young generation such as managing digital distractions and maintaining mental well-being during times of stress. Students proposed practical strategies such as mindful use of technology, setting balanced routines, and developing capacity through consistent effort and discipline. It was encouraged that students participating in the breakfasts cascade these big ideas to their peers.Teachers also reflected on their own learning and shared the importance of fostering a classroom environment that promotes resilience, self-discipline, empathy, and innovation. They emphasised that academic success, skills and emotional intelligence go hand in hand, and all of these are central to TNG’s vision of holistic development, a statement said.
