'Women's Fun Fiesta' organised
As part of its silver jubilee celebrations, Indian socio-cultural organisation Qatar Tamizhar Sangam (QTS) organised a special, women-exclusive event titled 'Women’s Fun Fiesta Celebration.' The event witnessed participation of around 200 women, grouped into four teams - Red, Green, Purple, and Blue. After a series of fun games, the Red team emerged winners, followed by the Purple team as runners-up. Indian embassy second secretary Bindu N Nair was the chief guest. The games were co-ordinated by QTS joint cultural secretary Radhika and benevolent secretary Bramma. The managing committee members, subcommittee members, and volunteers ensured a successful event. QTS vice president Paramasivam Ramesh delivered a special address, and subcommittee member Vasanthi proposed a vote of thanks.
